In 2017 the SCITT underwent its first Ofsted inspection and was judged as ‘outstanding’ in all areas. In 2021 the SCITT received its second inspection under the new framework, and it was judged as outstanding again in all areas:

• The quality of education and training
• Leadership and management
• Overall Effectiveness

The report commented on all aspects of our training but as a local provider we are particularly proud of the support we offer our trainees which was reflected in the following report comment:

“Trainees receive first-class support from the partnership. They are highly complimentary about the partnership, its leadership and the programme"
