In 2018-19 55% of trainees were graded as ‘outstanding’ in primary and 50% in secondary, 100 % of primary trainees secured employment and 91% secured teaching jobs; most of these posts were within our Alliance of schools.

Your Career

In addition to most trainees taking up teaching posts in our schools, the SCITT is part of a successful Teaching School Alliance which offers training from beginner teacher to senior leader. Many of our previous trainees now hold promoted posts in their schools and have gone on to mentor trainees for the SCITT
